Contribute to the 3RT Spring Newsletter by writing a short article on one of TESOL’s 6 Principles
- Know your learners
- Create conditions for language learning
- Design high quality lessons for language development
- Adapt lesson delivery as needed
- Monitor and assess student and language development
- Engage and collaborate within a community of practice
We invite 3RT members to contribute to the newsletter on this topic by writing about one of the principles from the perspective of one of our varied educational contexts.
Specifically, the 3RT member would choose a principle and write a 300-500 word article that:
- briefly summarizes what TESOL says about the principle
- describes what the principle means personally (as an educator in your context), and
- presents the idea at work/in practice, e.g., with an example from the classroom.
If you are interested in contributing, please send the following to the 3RT president at: president@threeriverstesol.org:
- your name
- your educational context
- the principle that you would like to write about
Contributors will only be vetted to ensure balance: The goal is to have each principle represented by a variety of contexts and individual perspectives.
Final submissions will be due by March 31st. Bylines with name, email, affiliation, and headshots will also be collected at that time.
Take this opportunity to share with the 3RT community!
