[Three Rivers TESOL] Reminder - Nominations for VP now being taken!

If you are interested in becoming more involved in 3RT and TESOL as a
whole, please consider nominating yourself for Vice President. Nominations
are being accepted through *March 17, 2020 *by emailing
president at threeriverstesol.org with your (1) first and last name, (2)
title, (3) affiliation, (4) a brief 50-word statement to be included in the
voting system.

The Vice President ‘learns the ropes’ to become president and has first
choice to attend TESOL Advocacy and Policy Summit. The VP is a three-year
commitment, with one year each in the role of VP, President, and Past
President. You can read more about the position in the attachment.

The Vice President elected this year will be serving as President for the
2022 International TESOL conference held in Pittsburgh. As President, you
may have some responsibilities for the conference, *but most of the
conference planning and facilitation would be taken care of by
International TESOL and the 2 local co-chairs and 8 committee heads. *Your
role would allow you to be involved but you would be one of many local 3RT
leaders contributing to the successful conference!

The Vice President also has the opportunity to attend the *2020 TESOL
Advocacy & Policy Summit
