[Three Rivers TESOL] Request for ESL curriculum for learners in Rwanda

Please read the request below and respond directly to Shirley Edmondson (

Shirley Edmondson has written to ask for recommendations for ESL curriculum
for a specific purpose.  As a member of the Kiskiminetas Presbytery of the
Presbyterian Church (USA)  in partnership with the Giterama Presbytery in
Rwanda, Africa, she is preparing to send ministers and/or lay persons to
Rwanda for three month mission experiences beginning in the fall of 2019,
where one of the tasks required will be to teach English to Rwandans.
(About eight years ago Rwanda adopted English instead of French as their
second language, and English is now being taught in the primary and
secondary schools.  However, those who have grown up speaking their native
language and French are eager to learn English.)   She is looking for
information about free resources that can be accessed via the internet or
other sources for use in Rwanda.
