April 13: 3RT 2019 Spring Seminar
It's not too late to register for Saturday's seminar (8:30-11:30 am) with
invited speakers Stephan Caspar (CMU) and Justin Goff (Duolingo).The 3RT
Spring Seminar will be held at *105 Lawrence Hall, University of Pittsburgh

May 13: All for All Refugee Education Workshop
Dr. Xia Chao (Duquesne University) is partnering with All for All
<http://allforall.world/> to host a series of four interactive workshops
focused on helping educators *understand our local refugee populations and
create culturally sustaining practices to support them*. Dr. Chao has spent
the past several years conducting ethnographic research with local refugee
communities including the Nepali/Bhutanese, Somali Bantu, and Sudanese, and
will share the results of her research with workshop participants.
Attendees will also benefit from networking and collaborating with each
other over the course of the four workshops, which will run May--Fall 2019.

The first workshop will be *Monday, May 13 from 5:30-8pm at City Theatre* (1300
Bingham St). Registration is *free*; Act 48 credits and light refreshments
